Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher to join our educational team. This role involves helping non-native English speakers improve their language skills through engaging and effective instruction. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, experience working with children, and a strong understanding of classroom dynamics. Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to students' language proficiency levels.
- Conduct online classroom instruction that emphasizes speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in English.
- Utilize various teaching methods and educational resources to enhance learning experiences.
- Provide individual tutoring sessions to address specific student needs and learning goals.
- Assess student progress regularly through assignments and informal evaluations.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student achievements.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in an educational setting or tutoring environment.
- Strong proficiency in English language instruction and classroom management skills.
- Prior experience teaching or tutoring ESL students is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage diverse learners.
- Classroom experience that demonstrates adaptability and creativity in teaching methods.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00-$55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 5 per week
