Our Central Service functions underpin the success of our brands and we’re looking for a Learning and Development Business Partner (Learning And Development Specialist) to join the team. You’ll be based in any of our UK offices as they’ll be frequent travel to all UK locations.
This role is a unique opportunity to work alongside our People and Operations Director and take ownership of all things learning. You’ll partner with leaders to understand skills gaps, performance needs and future capability requirements, and translate these into modern, engaging and practical learning solutions.
You’ll design and deliver high‑quality content, take ownership of our Learning Management System (LMS), and manage programmes funded through the Apprenticeship Levy.

The Role
As the Learning and Development Business Partner, you'll be working closely all stakeholders across the business to drive colleague experience. You will:
· Work with leaders and the People & Culture Business Partner to identify developmental needs and capability gaps.
· Design engaging learning solutions from scratch — including workshops, digital modules, toolkits, resources and blended programmes.
· Support learning across the entire colleague lifecycle, from induction and onboarding to leadership and career development.
· Deliver high‑impact training sessions face‑to‑face and virtually.
· Embed learning into the business through coaching, follow‑up materials, and post‑training support.
· Measure effectiveness through evaluation, feedback, and performance outcomes.
· Own and manage the Learning Management System, ensuring content is up‑to‑date, relevant and user‑friendly.
· Upload, curate and track training modules and ensure colleagues have a clear learning journey.
· Analyse LMS data to identify trends, engagement levels and opportunities for improvement.
· Manage the Apprenticeship Levy to ensure maximum return on investment.
· Work closely with the People & Culture Business Partner to align learning activity with performance, engagement and cultural priorities.
· Partner with leaders across the business to embed a continuous learning culture.
· Travel regularly across the UK to deliver training, meet leaders and build strong relationships with teams in all offices.
· Be a visible, accessible partner who understands local needs and brings learning to life on the ground.
About You
We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:
· Experience as an L&D Professional in a fast-paced sales based sector ideally staffing or recruitment.
· Skilled at designing learning content from the ground up — not just delivering pre‑built materials.
· Confident delivering training both virtually and in‑person.
· Creative, innovative and passionate about impactful learning experiences.
· Comfortable owning and managing an LMS (experience with implementation is a bonus!).
· Knowledgeable about the Apprenticeship Levy and how to maximise its value.
· A strong communicator who can engage and influence leaders at all levels.
· Ready and willing to travel regularly across the UK.
