Learning & Development Lead
We are looking for a confident and highly motivated Learning & Development Lead to join us at OrderYOYO. We are growing rapidly across all of our markets in Europe and expanding to more countries in Europe over the next year – here’s how you can be part of that!
ORDERYOYO’s Mission
We help takeaways and restaurants succeed online by providing them with personalised branded mobile apps, websites and personalised marketing. We are here to ensure that small to medium-sized restaurants and small chains are not subjected to high commissions, giving restaurants ownership of their success.
Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing
As our Learning & Development Lead, you will play a key role in shaping how we train and develop our sales teams across multiple markets. You will lead the onboarding and development journey for new starters, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge, confidence and skills to succeed in their roles.
You will support a small team of trainers and work closely with sales leaders to build engaging training content, deliver inductions, and track performance through our learning platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a growing function and help drive performance across the business.
Location
Hybrid – partially on-site in our Manchester office, partially in the field with sales team (with some travel to other European offices).
Salary
Up to £40,000 plus bonus

The Job
- Lead the Learning & Development function for our sales teams.
- Support a small team of internal trainers.
- Create engaging training content for new starters and ongoing development.
- Deliver onboarding programmes and induction training for new employees.
- Track learning progress and competency through training platforms and internal systems.
- Work closely with team managers to ensure new starters become competent and confident in their roles.
- Support sales performance by delivering training both in the office and occasionally in the field.
- Travel to other European markets when required to support training initiatives.
- Help new starters reach competency within their first months and support their ongoing development.

What We Are Looking For In You
- Experience in sales training, learning & development, or enablement.
- Someone confident presenting and delivering training sessions.
- Experience creating engaging training content and learning materials.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate others.
- Experience supporting or mentoring others (previous team leadership is a plus but not essential).
- Someone organised, driven and passionate about developing people.
