We are currently seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to support a prestigious European Institution in Brussels. 🔍🇪🇺
This role focuses on building and maintaining a comprehensive training ecosystem that enables users and trainers to effectively use a complex internal business application.
🖥️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Functional Testing
Actively participate in the testing of newly developed features, providing feedback from a user and training perspective to ensure usability, quality, and ease of learning.
Instructor-Led Training (ILT)
Design and maintain a complete Instructor-Led Training package, including PowerPoint presentations and the preparation of realistic training data in the training environment to support live demonstrations.
Deliver training sessions following a train-the-trainer approach, enabling internal trainers to cascade learning across the organisation and providing coaching when necessary.
Online Learning
Develop short, topic-based e-learning capsules, preferably using AI-powered authoring tools, and publish them on the organisation’s Moodle learning platform, ensuring content is engaging, accessible, and up to date.
Documentation & Maintenance
Develop and maintain training materials and user documentation, ensuring they remain aligned with system updates and evolving user needs.
📝 PROFILE
The ideal candidate combines instructional design expertise with a curious and technical mindset, feeling comfortable navigating both the user interface and the functional logic of complex business applications.
• Experience in Learning & Development, training design, or instructional design
• Experience creating training materials, user documentation, and e-learning content
• Experience delivering Instructor-Led Training and train-the-trainer sessions
• Familiarity with e-learning platforms such as Moodle
• Experience using modern or AI-supported learning authoring tools is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in multicultural environments
• Excellent level of English, french is a plus.
