The Manager - University Partnerships will be responsible for developing, managing, and expanding progression agreements for Alvis Pathway programs, including International Foundation Year (IFY), International Year One (IY1), and Year Two pathways worldwide.
This role focuses on securing high-quality articulation agreements that provide students with guaranteed or advanced entry into undergraduate degree programs at partner universities.
The Manager will play a key role in partnership development, negotiation support, relationship management, and performance monitoring to strengthen Alvis Pathway’s international progression network.
Key Responsibilities
1. University Partnership Development
- Identify prospective universities for progression partnerships across key global markets (UK, Canada, USA, Australia, Europe, Asia, and other regions), ensuring alignment with the relevant national education frameworks and academic systems.
- Initiate contact and build relationships with university international offices, admissions teams, and academic departments.
- Support the negotiation and drafting of articulation agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs).
- Assist in securing progression pathways for:
- International Foundation Year → Year 1 entry
- International Year 1 → Year 2 entry
- International Year 2 → Final Year entry
2. Articulation & Curriculum Alignment
- Coordinate curriculum mapping between Alvis Pathway programs and partner university degree requirements.
- Work closely with academic teams to ensure learning outcomes, assessment methods, and credit structures meet partner expectations.
- Maintain updated progression criteria including GPA thresholds, English requirements, and subject prerequisites.
- Ensure all articulation agreements are clearly documented and communicated internally.
3. Relationship Management
- Maintain regular communication with university partners to strengthen collaboration.
- Organize partnership review meetings and provide performance updates.
- Address queries related to student progression, credit recognition, and compliance matters.
- Support partner visits, academic delegations, and joint promotional activities.
5. Commercial & Recruitment Support
- Collaborate with Marketing and Admissions teams to promote progression pathways.
- Develop progression guides and marketing materials outlining university destinations.
- Support recruitment partners with accurate and updated progression information.
- Contribute to enrollment growth targets linked to university partnerships.
6. Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure progression agreements align with international education regulations and institutional policies.
- Monitor compliance with contractual obligations and academic standards.
- Assist in audits, reviews, and documentation required for quality assurance processes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Education, Business, International Relations, or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in higher education partnerships, international student recruitment, or articulation management.
- Experience working with International Foundation, and TNE is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of international credit systems and undergraduate progression frameworks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
