The Strategy and Leadership (S&L) L&D Senior Manager will support the development pillar’s vision of driving value to our people, business and clients by fostering a culture of continuous learning. The S&L L&D Senior Manager is responsible for formulating, recommending and executing strategic plans for firm-wide AI and human skills development. This includes assessing, designing, developing and implementing learning solutions, from inception through to business impact, to support the cultivation of business skills within our organization. The role also includes reimagining what’s possible by identifying new ways to innovate and evolve programs within Strategy and Leadership and the broader L&D pillar. In alignment with PwC’s firm‑wide AI strategy, the successful candidate will also lead the design and execution of future‑ready learning that enable responsible AI use, digital fluency, and adoption of innovative learning technologies across the firm.

As an Learning and Development Senior Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Leading the identification and prioritization of firm learning solutions to build critical business, leadership, and future‑ready skills aligned to firm strategy
- Oversee enterprise AI enablement and adoption by designing learning strategies that promote behaviour change, responsible and ethical use, and sound governance, partnering with business, technology, and risk stakeholders to drive sustainable AI adoption at scale
- Shaping workforce capability for an AI‑enabled future by embedding AI literacy, applied use cases, ethical considerations, and essential human skills into enterprise learning journeys and leadership development programs
- Collaborating with adjacent transformation, digital, and enablement workstreams to ensure alignment across enterprise change initiatives, integrating AI, leadership, and business skills development into broader firm priorities
- Building strong relationships with business, Human Capital, and global network partners to align learning priorities, strengthen collaboration, and share best practices. Understanding business unit strategies and contributing to the development of a learning plan to support these strategies
- Identifying learning and performance needs and implementing effective learning approaches and educational technologies
- Providing strategic oversight across learning program design, delivery, and investment decisions to ensure alignment with enterprise priorities
- Evaluating learning strategy effectiveness and defining measurement approaches that assess business impact and inform continuous improvement
- Leading and developing a high‑performing L&D leadership team
- Representing L&D in various committees, meetings, and workstreams
Experiences And Skills You’ll Use To Solve
- Expertise in adult learning theory, performance analysis, instructional design, and evaluating learning impact
- Experience shaping and enabling AI literacy, including applied use cases, responsible and ethical use, and driving behavior change
- Ability to use AI tools to streamline L&D operations such as content creation, analytics, curation, and workflow automation
- Understanding of change management issues and leading innovation in technology-enabled environments
- Partnering with technology, risk, and business stakeholders to align learning strategies with enterprise AI priorities and governance
- Understanding of firm business and leadership skill frameworks, with experience diagnosing capability gaps and designing scalable development solutions
- Advanced consulting and stakeholder engagement skills, including executive communication and the ability to influence and build trust
- Experience leading teams and complex capability initiatives, translating strategic skill priorities into measurable learning outcomes
- People-leadership capability with a track record of developing L&D leaders and managers through coaching, feedback, and performance management
- Portfolio and program management capability, including prioritizing business initiatives, aligning resources, and delivering against competing demands

The salary range for this position is $98,000 - $148,000. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
