The Role
We are looking for a Recruitment & HR Coordinator to join our team. This position will be responsible to all Canadian full cycle recruitment and support all functions of the HR team including learning and development, recognition, wellness and benefits, compensation and administration.
The Human Resources team is focused on attracting and retaining high performing employees, empowering Pasonites, encouraging a culture of learning and development, and supporting our business goals. We support Pason's unique culture and values through recruitment, payroll, benefits, compensation, training and development, and employee relations.
Responsibilities
- Perform full cycle recruitment including job postings internally and externally, candidate searches, resume screening, phone/video screening, scheduling & performing interviews, background checks and job offer presentations
- Coordinate recruitment activities with external vendors including job fairs, campus recruitment, internship programs and liaising with agencies as required
- Manage Pason’s internship program, including recruitment, onboarding, orientation, coordination of intern activities, and evaluation, while building strong partnerships with universities and post‑secondary institutions to support talent pipelines
- Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques; interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Indeed)
- Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs
- Promote our employer brand online and offline; be a champion for Pason’s recruitment efforts
- Utilize our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other technology platforms to efficiently and effectively recruit top talent
- Onboarding process including drafting employment agreements, new hire paperwork, entry of new hire employee data into the HRIS
- Assist the HR team with projects and initiatives as required
Qualifications
- Proven work experience in human resources, talent acquisition, and/or recruitment
- Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings)
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills with strong customer service
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Capacity to maintain confidentiality
- Demonstrated strong technical skills with the ability to analyze workflows and implement process improvements that drive efficiency across HR operations
- Capacity to handle high pressure situations and tight deadlines
- Experience with an HRIS (experience with UKG would be an asset)
- Ability to travel within Canada and the United States as required
Experience
Required
- 2+ years of experience of in-house recruitment experience within a dynamic, fast paced high-volume corporate environment
- 2+ years of experience in HR administration or related
Preferred
- Experience with technical recruitment would be considered an asset
- Professional experience with a technology company would be considered an asset
Education
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business Administration or Human Resources, or related
