Your new role
As the Learning & Development Manager, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for all L&D activities. You will drive a culture of continuous improvement, support organisational development initiatives, and ensure training programmes meet regulatory, professional and organisational standards.Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop the L&D Services team, promoting high performance and professional growth.
- Lead and support organisation-wide projects, including accreditation processes, professional development events and cultural transformation programmes.
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive L&D strategy aligned to strategic and workforce development priorities.
- Partner with senior leaders and operational managers to assess learning needs, skill gaps and future capability requirements.
- Engage with frontline teams to ensure training is relevant, impactful and continuously improved.
- Integrate learning into the quality management system to support compliance and quality enhancement.
- Identify and secure funding opportunities to expand training initiatives and resources.
- Establish and monitor L&D performance metrics, using data to measure impact and drive innovation.
- Leverage digital learning platforms to enhance accessibility and engagement.
- Ensure full readiness for audits and inspections, maintaining rigorous compliance with mandatory training requirements.
- Design, deliver and evaluate in‑house training programmes, working collaboratively with internal experts and external providers.
- Support internal trainers and subject matter experts to enhance training quality.
- Coach and mentor managers to embed learning into everyday practice.
- Line-manage L&D team members, providing supervision, performance management and professional development support.
