LMS & Digital Learning Specialist
Salary: £36,000–£38,000 per annum
Location: Central London (W1T) with hybrid working (2 days per week in the office)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
We’re recruiting a LMS & Digital Learning Specialist for a respected professional membership organisation with a growing digital education offer.
This is a brilliant opportunity to take ownership of a well-established Moodle Workplace learning platform, support learners and faculty, and build engaging online courses in collaboration with a supportive education team.

About the role
This role sits within the Education team and works closely with the Education Manager and Education Content Lead to deliver high-quality digital learning.
The role has three core strands:
- Ensuring the learning platform runs smoothly
- Supporting users and responding to enquiries
- Building and producing new digital learning content
You’ll be involved early in projects through kickoff meetings, helping plan course builds and timelines. Once scripts and content are finalised, you’ll transform them into engaging online learning using authoring tools and multimedia production. You’ll also support occasional filming and recording projects in the organisation’s studio (training provided). This is a hands-on, varied role that combines technical platform management, course production, and creative digital learning development.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and manage the Moodle Workplace learning platform
- Ensure courses are functioning correctly and accessible to users
- Respond to learner and faculty queries via a shared inbox
- Build online courses from approved scripts and content
- Collaborate with the Education Content Lead on course development
- Use authoring tools to create engaging digital learning experiences
- Track course builds using project timelines and trackers
- Support online learning events where needed
- Assist with filming and multimedia production projects
- Produce usage and feedback reports
- Liaise with platform and plugin helpdesks when required
About you
We’re looking for someone methodical, technically confident, and collaborative, who enjoys bringing learning content to life online.
You’ll likely have experience:
- Building courses within an LMS (ideally Moodle Workplace)
- Supporting users of digital learning platforms
- Using digital authoring tools and multimedia software
- Managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Working collaboratively in a small team environment
You’ll also be comfortable participating in meetings, presenting ideas clearly, and contributing to team discussions.
