About the Role
We’re looking for a thoughtful, organised and people‑focused Learning, Organisational Development & Engagement (LODE) Assistant to join our Learning, Organisational Development & Engagement team on a 6-month fixed term contract.
In this role, you’ll be the welcoming first point of contact for colleagues seeking support with learning, development or engagement queries. You’ll help manage our learning systems, coordinate induction and training activities, and keep our information channels clear, up to date and easy to use.

What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
- Act as the first point of contact for learning, organisational development and engagement enquiries
- Manage inboxes, our ticketing system, Teams channels and intranet enquiries
- Coordinate responses across the LODE team
- Schedule induction programmes, learning activities and development sessions
- Maintain and update our Learning Management System and provide accurate reports
- Keep our intranet pages current, informative and easy to navigate
- Support new learning and development projects, including preparing materials and managing attendance
- Help monitor mandatory learning and provide compliance updates to managers
- Deliver organisation‑wide induction and support local teams with theirs
- Manage LD1 requests and support the tracking of learning investment

What We’re Looking For — Essential Criteria
You’ll bring the following:
Experience & Knowledge
- Experience working in a busy, geographically dispersed environment
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Forms, Excel, Word and Teams
- Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS)
Skills & Abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence managing stakeholder relationships
- A pragmatic, solutions‑focused approach, with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure
- Strong planning, project management and problem‑solving abilities
