Role overview: The Learning & Development Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, administration, and day-to-day operations of learning, leadership and organisational development, and onboarding-related activities at RELEX. This is a standalone coordinator role with a strong focus on accuracy, organisation, and end-to-end ownership of processes and programs.
The role requires an experienced coordinator who is comfortable working independently, managing multiple ongoing activities, and ensuring that learning-related operations run reliably and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Communication and information management
- Own and maintain L&D team communication channels, including the internal Wiki, Slack, automated notifications, and email communications
- Create, update, and manage content to ensure information is accurate, consistent, and easy to find
- Proactively identify outdated information, gaps, and opportunities to improve internal communication and documentation
Program and process coordination & administration - Coordinate and administer leadership learning, onboarding-related, and organisational development programs and processes
- Own the administrative aspects of programs end to end, including:
- Calendar management
- Participant communications and record keeping
- Documentation and materials preparation
- Logistical readiness of sessions
- Provide coordination support during learning sessions and events as required
- Manage end-user support for key organizational development processes and serve as the primary administrator for L&D ticketing system
- Handle incoming tickets directed to the L&D team, such as process specific questions and support requests
- Monitor relevant Slack channels and team email inbox
- Act as L&D key user for Workday tool
Training event and vendor coordination
- Manage training and learning event logistics, including venues, virtual setups, catering, and schedules
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners to ensure smooth delivery of services
- Support vendor-related administrative tasks and ongoing coordination
Finnish language course coordination
- Own the coordination of Finnish language courses
- Manage vendor relationships related to the courses
- Maintain participant records and handle internal communications related to the program
- Ensure the program operates consistently and reliably over time
Ownership and continuous improvement
- Take responsibility for assigned processes and recurring activities, ensuring they run accurately and on schedule
- Identify issues, risks, and inefficiencies proactively and early, and address them independently where possible
- Propose practical improvements to coordination, documentation, and administrative processes
Required Skills And Experience
- Previous experience in a coordinator, administrative, operations, or similar role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in day-to-day work
- Excellent written communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously
- Comfort working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities
- Willingness and ability to contribute effectively across the team by providing support where required, even outside the primary scope of responsibility
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle routine and complex tasks reliably
Collaboration and stakeholder interaction
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across the organisation
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners in a professional and structured manner
- Support the L&D team by providing reliable operational and administrative expertise
Role context
This is an experienced coordinator role with significant responsibility for the operational success of learning, leadership and organisational development activities. The role is not a specialist position but requires a high level of independence, reliability, and ownership.
