Provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the organization’s enterprise learning ecosystem. Sets the learning strategy and ensures integration across instructional design, management development, and training delivery. Builds scalable programs that strengthen leadership capability, workforce performance, and compliance with regulatory agency requirements and OneBlood policies and procedures.
This positions can be located in St. Petersburg, Ft. Lauderdale or Orlando

- Builds effective partnerships with the business including the Executive Team
- Develops strategies to address business needs and supports achievement of business results through learning and development of staff
- Sets the direction and pace of change and drives crucial change initiatives, identifying practices that focus on future growth and expanding business applications
- Identifies, selects and oversees the implementation of advanced technology and methods for learning and development
- Runs large scale, effective training operations and projects in a virtual, complex and matrixed environment
- Leads, builds, motivates and develops high performing training teams. Navigates teams through ambiguous situations and demonstrates learning agility
- Applies broad learning and development expertise to formulate strategies, design solutions, and ensure flawless execution and impact
- Manages budgets, vendors and external learning partners to ensure cost-effective, high quality learning solutions are aligned with organizational priorities.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University. Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the area of adult learning in a corporate training environment and minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible management experience or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training and/or experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND DESIGNATIONS
Instructional design, e-learning, or project management certification preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of and ability to design, develop and implement innovative and effective learning and competency assessment programs
- Knowledge of design and implementation of management development and sales curricula
- Knowledge of learning management systems and instructional design software (e.g, Articulate, Captivate, Lectora, Saba, etc.)
- Ability to formulate, initiate, and administer policies and procedures for effective fiscal control
- Ability to develop and interpret budgets, contracts, and financial reports
- Ability to delegate, manage and supervise effectively
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
- Advanced computer knowledge including Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to travel up to 35% of the time.

Ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (up to 20 pounds).
