The Sales Training Manager leads the design and delivery of instructor-led and digital sales training programs aligned with Red Bull North America’s Sales and Distribution strategy. This role develops and integrates learning solutions—such as training programs, job aids, and e-learning—to build skills across the Off Premise Sales and Distribution teams while ensuring alignment with Red Bull’s brand standards.
The role partners closely with sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to apply Red Bull’s 70/20/10 learning philosophy, reinforce learning through in-person and virtual training, and strengthen sales capabilities, coaching, and leadership skills across field and management roles.

SALES TRAINING DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, IMPLEMENTATION
The Sales Training Manager assumes a leading role in executing responsibilities within the Sales Training and Development department. Spearhead the implementation of innovative training programs by facilitating both instructor-led and virtual training sessions to maximize the effectiveness of the sales team. Collaborate with the Director of Sales Training to conduct regular needs assessments, identifying knowledge gaps and determining training requirements. Create diverse learning solutions, including job aids, eLearning modules, videos, podcasts, case studies, and other training materials tailored to enhance learning experiences. Execute customized learning plans and sales role-specific onboarding for different learner segments within Off-Premise Sales Distribution. These plans will address the specific roles within the organization and integrate appropriate timing to ensure the training's relevance and efficacy. Oversee the project management of training initiatives, such as reinforcement programs, Train-the-Trainer certifications, and other scalable learning solutions supporting Field Sales and Distribution Management
BUSINESS PARTNERSHIPS AND ENGAGEMENT
Act as an ambassador for the Sales Athlete program across all levels of the sales organization. Collaborate with leadership to design and implement learning solutions tailored to specific distribution channels and/or markets, working closely with the global Sales Athlete program and internal stakeholders as needed. Coordinate with diverse Subject Matter Experts, stakeholders, and vendors across different geographies on setting objectives, developing course content, and devising communication strategies; efficiently manage project design, scope, and development timelines. Utilize consultative skills to support the creation and implementation of learning solutions across various functions. Recommend or integrate vendor programs that align with instructional objectives and goals.
MEASURE AND ADAPT
Establish metrics/assessments to measure performance of learning solutions. Implement processes to collect information on post-program behavior adoption of learners in support of training managers. Align with stakeholders to establish and maintain metrics to monitor performance of the learning solutions effect on post-training behavior change and business results. Evaluate data and synthesize insights on effectiveness, recommend training, systems, or process modifications. Assess instructor performance and learning programs in order to recommend improvements to learning content and/or instructor presentation methods; may, select, and train additional instructors from the sales organization.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND PLANNING
Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and communication strategies for training initiatives. Coordinate and execute training events as needed via Red Bull's Learning Management System (LMS). Manage and optimize existing resource libraries and training databases. Create and disseminate communications related to specific learning solutions.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- 5+ years of experience in Learning and Development or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, particularly in the beverage sector or similar, is strongly preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of CPG sales processes, including trade programs, pricing, product assortment, promotions, and execution.
- Expertise in integrating business training needs into effective learning solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and facilitating sales training programs for sales personnel, along with implementing training evaluation processes.
- Strong skills in verbal and written communication, multitasking, and delivering presentations.
- Proficiency in designing and developing innovative learning solutions, such as job aids, eLearning modules, videos, scripts, and podcasts.
- Solid understanding of adult learning theory.
- Exceptional project management, consultative, and communication skills.
- Ability to think strategically and analyze complex business challenges to provide solution-oriented outcomes.
- Willingness and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative work environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Training certifications are preferred.
This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.
The base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $132,000 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
