About the role:
The Training and Development Specialist plays a critical role in building and executing Pompa Program’s Learning & Development strategy. This role is responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving training programs that support employee performance, engagement, and organizational growth.
As part of a newly formed L&D team, this role will help establish foundational learning programs while partnering closely with HR, People Leaders, and cross-functional teams to ensure training is effective, scalable, and aligned with Pompa Program’s mission, values, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Design & Delivery
- Design, develop, and facilitate engaging training programs (live, virtual, and self-paced) for onboarding, role-based skills, leadership development, and compliance.
- Translate business needs into practical, learner-centered training solutions.
- Facilitate workshops, webinars, and instructor-led sessions for diverse employee groups.
Onboarding & Enablement
- Support and continuously improve new hire onboarding programs to ensure consistency, clarity, and cultural alignment.
- Partner with department leaders to build role-specific training paths and learning roadmaps.
- Ensure new employees are equipped to perform confidently and compliantly.
Learning Program Management
- Maintain and manage training content within the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Track training completion, learner engagement, and effectiveness metrics.
- Collect feedback and analyze data to improve learning outcomes.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Partnership
- Partner with HR, Compliance, People Leaders, and Subject Matter Experts to identify skill gaps and training priorities.
- Support company initiatives such as internal promotions, leadership readiness, and performance improvement plans.
- Contribute to the development of a strong learning culture across the organization.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay current on adult learning principles, instructional design best practices, and L&D trends.
- Regularly update training materials to reflect process changes, compliance requirements, and business growth.
- Recommend innovative learning tools and approaches that scale with the organization.
Qualifications:
Required
- 5+ years of experience in training, learning & development, instructional design, or a related HR function.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or related field
- Experience facilitating live and virtual training sessions.
- Strong instructional design skills with a learner-first mindset.
- Knowledge on e-learning creation using authoring tools (i.e. Articulate, Captivate)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and alignment with Pompa Program’s mission and values.
Preferred
- Experience building or scaling training programs in a high-growth or remote-first organization.
- Familiarity with LMS platforms and learning technology tools.
- Background in healthcare, wellness, coaching, or regulated environments.
- Experience supporting leadership development or people manager training.
- ATD or other relevant L&D certifications are a plus.

Compensation Range: 80K-90K
