POSITION SUMMARY
The Training & Development Specialist is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, delivering, and continuously improving training programs to ensure VuePoint clearly communicates and trains colleagues on expectations of their role. This role fills a key function of equipping colleagues for success by aligning training and development collateral and approaches with the business stakeholders’ needs. The primary customer for this role initially will be the Vice President, Health Screening Services. This role will collaborate heavily with multiple teams across the company, some of which have training support capabilities. This role will be accountable for ensuring training and development materials are consistently developed and delivered in a manner that reflects VuePoint’s culture, and drives desired outcomes, while ensuring coordination with documented policies, procedures, standard operating procedures, and work instructions. This role will use a mix of delivery approaches (classroom, virtual, video, etc.) based on what is the best fit for VuePoint and the specific training need. This role will be successful when information is delivered in clear and easily understood materials that lead to a solid understanding and recall of the materials for participants. . This role serves as a trusted learning partner to the organization, ensuring colleagues across departments are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to meet performance, quality, compliance, and member experience standards. This role will also fill a crucial function with ongoing change management campaigns.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and facilitate onboarding and ongoing training programs using proven, effective, and engaging adult education concepts
- Translate operational workflows and processes into clear, effective training materials for diverse audiences.
- Incorporate VuePoint Academy concepts and principles into training materials to position colleagues for long-term success
- Deliver engaging training and development content in virtual and in-person environments, applying adult learning principles with an understanding of adaptive techniques to meet a variety of learning styles.
- Equip training support colleagues in each team with facilitation training and tools via train the trainer activity
- Design and deliver training materials based on guidance from key stakeholders to equip colleagues to consistently meet or exceed performance, quality, and productivity targets while demonstrating the VuePoint cultural expectations and commitment to ongoing improvement.
- Partner with operations and leadership teams to identify skill gaps and training needs.
- Evaluate training effectiveness using performance data, feedback, and assessments; recommend and implement improvements.
- Leverage subject matter expertise as directed to ensure development of materials using approved VuePoint methods and instruction.
- Ensure training content aligns with approved scripts, policies, procedures, work instructions, and compliance requirements.
- Reinforce HIPAA, privacy, and confidentiality standards across all training audiences.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree or certification in education, Training & Development, Business, or Communications is preferred.
- 5+ years of adult training experience in a corporate or professional setting required.
- Must be able to travel up to 30% as required by the role.
- Proven experience training non-exempt and exempt teams, preferably in an outbound or production targets environment.
- Demonstrate experience training remote or hybrid workforces.
- Experience training with healthcare related organizations strongly preferred
- Experience with hospitality, engagement, or sales a plus
- Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to engage, influence, and motivate adult learners with diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing multiple training initiatives.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools.
- Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) or similar training content management platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts to adult learners and colleagues.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy requirements.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is plus.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
