Purpose of the position
ICARDA is seeking an experienced Learning & Development Consultant to join our dynamic HR team. The selected candidate will play a central part in strengthening our organizational learning culture by designing and implementing learning initiatives that enable the effective rollout of ICARDA's new Performance Management Framework.

Responsibilities
Main responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality learning solutions, including training modules, toolkits, guides, and e-learning content that support the new framework rollout
- Create materials that promote continuous feedback, goal-setting, coaching, and performance review best practices
- Ensure learning content is practical, user-friendly, and aligned with ICARDA's values and organizational context
- Facilitate workshops, webinars, and training sessions for staff and managers globally
- Build capacity of supervisors in performance coaching, feedback conversations, competency-based evaluations, and development planning
- Establish mechanisms to evaluate learning outcomes, measure effectiveness, and track progress against goals
Requirements
Education, qualifications, and experience
- Advanced university degree (Master's level or higher) in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Adult Learning, Education, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development and organizational development
- Proven experience in designing and delivering learning programs related to performance management, leadership development, or change management
- Strong experience in facilitating workshops and virtual learning sessions for diverse, multicultural audiences
- Demonstrated ability to translate frameworks and policies into practical, engaging learning solutions

Terms of appointment, salary, and benefits
The successful candidate will be offered a 30-day consultancy contract on a full-time basis.
The incumbent will be provided with an honorarium based on the contract deliverables.
