About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to step into a hands-on Learning & Development role where your work directly supports people on the front lines. You will play a key role in building practical, standardized training programs that help employees succeed safely, confidently, and consistently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Working closely with plant leaders, supervisors, and subject matter experts, you will shape how employees are onboarded, trained, and developed over time. This role sits within a collaborative HR and operations team and offers the chance to make a visible impact on workforce readiness, performance, and engagement within a manufacturing organization that values continuous improvement.

Your Responsibilities
- You’ll design and implement structured onboarding and on-the-job training programs for manufacturing and operational teams.
- In this role, you’ll develop training content aligned with safety, quality, and operational standards using adult learning principles.
- You’ll partner with plant leaders and subject matter experts to identify skill gaps and training needs.
- You’ll manage and optimize the learning management system for training delivery, tracking, and reporting.
- You’ll measure training effectiveness using clear metrics and continuously improve programs based on data and feedback.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in learning and development, training, or a related field, within manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and hands-on training methodologies.
- Experience working with learning management systems and training metrics.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with operational leaders and frontline teams.
- Clear, confident communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused mindset.
