Job Title: Learning & Development Trainer
Salary Range: $70,000 to $75,000
Location: In the field (approximately 50%) and in the Delta Head Office
Status: Full Time
About the Role:
As our Learning & Development Trainer, you’ll be out where the action happens on job sites, with frontline teams, and partnering closely with operations, as well as department leaders. Your mission is to design practical, hands-on training, deliver it directly in the field, coach people in real time, while also partnering with other departments to create and deliver meaningful training.
What you’ll do
- Design and deliver training through job guides, hands on practice, workshops, and virtual sessions.
- Spend your time in the field training frontline cleaners, supervisors, and site leads directly where the work happens.
- Partner with departments to identify essential training needs and create engaging learning content.
- Create onboarding roadmap with department leaders, outlining what new hires need to know in week 1, month 1, and beyond.
- Lead train the trainer sessions to build inhouse learning.
- Use feedback, onsite observations and trends to enhance training programs and create based on operational and business needs.
- Schedule training sessions, manage materials, update content as processes evolve, and track progress and attendance.
- Get creative in delivering training programs!
Who You Are
- Strong facilitator who enjoys being hands on and working directly with frontline teams.
- 3+ years of experience in training, coaching, ideally in cleaning, facilities, hospitality, or other service focused industries.
- Comfortable building programs from scratch and adapting as you go.
- Excellent communicator with a natural ability to connect with diverse teams.
- Organized and energized by fast paced work in the field.
- Able to travel to job sites and spend time in the field.
- Ability to pass all pre-employment checks and required security clearances.
- Ability to maintain all required security clearances.
- Reliable transportation required.

Work Environment:
This is a full-time position with a standard work schedule, which includes approximately 50% in the field (Site visits) and the rest of the time will be in the Delta Head Office.
