Head of Learning Solutions – 12-Month Fixed Term Contract

Hours: Full-Time - 36.25 per week

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced leader to join us on a 12-month maternity cover as Head of Learning Solutions. This role ensures continuity and delivery of NEC and ICE global learning portfolio, maintaining high standards and supporting strategic priorities.
You will lead an established team to deliver learning programmes and events that meet diverse customer needs across international markets. This includes managing budgets, timelines, and risk, while sustaining strong relationships with stakeholders and partners. You will also oversee ongoing development initiatives and support enhancements to existing offerings, leveraging technology to improve learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure continuity of NEC and ICE learning products strategy during the maternity cover period.
- Lead and motivate the Learning Solutions team to deliver high-quality programmes and events globally.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources across multiple projects, ensuring delivery within scope.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, supporting business continuity.
- Oversee ongoing development initiatives and incremental improvements to learning solutions and assessment tools.
- Monitor performance and ensure compliance with risk management and quality standards.
About You:
- Proven experience in leading learning and development portfolios or large-scale events.
- Strong strategic and operational leadership skills.
- Ability to manage complex projects and budgets effectively.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Familiarity with digital learning technologies and global delivery models is desirable.
Experience:
- Significant experience in the training industry (essential).
- Experience with digital learning products (desirable).
- Ability to plan, prioritise and manage product development initiatives.
- Strong portfolio of successful product launches.
- Strong project management and budget management skills.
- Experience of successfully leading and mentoring teams.
Qualifications:
- A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
