Referment is working with a high-growth, global financial technology powerhouse that operates across North America, Europe, and Asia. They support tens of thousands of clients worldwide and now they’re transforming their entire Learning & Development function.
They’re looking for a Senior Learning & Development Manager who wants to build, shape, and
OWN a global learning ecosystem from the ground up. This isn’t a “maintain what exists” role, this is a build, innovate, and elevate opportunity.
If you love taking a blank canvas and turning it into a world-class learning experience… this is your role.
Why This Role Is Seriously Exciting
You will be the driving force behind their newly centralised L&D hub, partnering with senior leaders and global teams to deliver learning that actually transforms performance. You’ll shape everything: platforms, processes, content, structure, governance, insights — the lot.
You’ll also own their 360Learning platform end-to-end, so if you’re passionate about digital learning and want the autonomy to make things exceptional… you’ll thrive here.
What You’ll Lead
- Build & run the global L&D engine — from onboarding to leadership development to commercial training.
- Own the 360Learning LMS — configuration, cohorts, integrations, governance, and optimisation.
- Design high-impact digital learning using Articulate, SCORM, and interactive content.
- Manage global programmes across multiple regions (UK, EU, North America).
- Bring data to life — dashboards, KPIs, reporting to senior leadership.
- Partner with HR, sales, compliance, and IT to ensure training is aligned, relevant, and engaging.
- Drive L&D innovation — including AI-enhanced coaching and personalised learning journeys.
This role blends strategy, creativity, delivery excellence, and global stakeholder influence.
What You Bring
- Strong L&D experience within regulated financial services
- Comfortable being hands-on with LMS management — 360Learning experience is a huge plus
- Skilled in digital content creation (Articulate, SCORM, assessments)
- Comfortable running large, multi-region programmes
- Confident influencing senior leaders and shaping learning culture
- A doer, a builder, a problem-solver — someone who creates momentum, not slides
