Project / Position Summary:
We are seeking an Intermediate Learning and Engagement Specialist to engage application
and site stakeholders with sensitivity to discuss, plan for, and manage high impactful changes. This role helps Health Authorities (HA) stakeholders to proactively consider the impacts of new system delivery and/or remediation efforts on clinical and operational end users. Understanding stakeholder’s unique needs, concerns, and expectations is key. The Engagement Specialist, Learning & Development, builds stakeholder trust, establishing the credibility of the delivery team and acts as a conduit for all parties to make important decisions. The role involves bringing multiple stakeholder groups together to collaborate on approaches to resolve challenges and advance changes.
Responsibilities / Deliverables:
The Learning and Engagement Specialist responsibilities/deliverables may include, but may not be limited to:
- Work collaboratively with vendors, program leaders, educators, and staff to assess program and cross-program clinical education needs and priorities and develops learning strategies and education plans to meet those needs. Implement and evaluate learning programs.
- Conduct a needs analysis to determine required learning outcomes to transition staff to new or upgraded telecommunication system.
- Coordinate with internal communications and work within available platforms to promote learning programs and resources.
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate in-class and virtual training sessions.
- Evaluate learning effectiveness.
- Manage workload and tasks to ensure successful delivery of projects.
- Take responsibility for continuous improvement, review vendor provided training materials to ensure quality of all materials produced are to the required standard, reviewed and updated.
- Produce new training and instructional materials to support staff to learn new processes and procedures.
- Gathering employee feedback via surveys, focus groups, and other data sources, analyzing results, developing and implementing recommendations and programs that incorporate diverse perspectives.
- Develop communication plans which may include IT Broadcasts, Memos, Go-Live Approval Document · Develop and maintain communication and decision logs for high impact changes.
- Support project managers in developing clinical impact assessments, application impact assessments, lessons learned and change readiness checklists.
- Executive materials such as briefing notes and presentations.
Experience / Skills Requirements:
The Learning and Engagement Specialist should have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
1. A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a degree/certificate in Education, Human Resources, Communication, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
2. 3+ years working as a training/engagement specialist, , , .
3. Previous experience Voice Solutions such as , , , and/or .
4. Experience with Addie / SAM methodologies and tools such as , and/or .
5. Experienced in adapting, developing, facilitating and evaluating high quality, interactive blended learning solutions.
