Job Summary
The
Learning and Development (L&D) Officer :
is responsible for handling general L&D administrative functions
including maintaining physical and digital employee records, identifying training needs, coordinating
training activities, maintaining training records, and ensuring that
employees receive effective learning experiences aligned with organizational
goals.
Job Duties Responsibilities
- Assist in scheduling training sessions, workshops, onboarding programs, and e-learning activities.
This includes managing invitations, booking venues or virtual platforms, setting up equipment, and
preparing necessary materials.
- Manage communications and participant support by sending training-related communications, respond to
employee inquiries about course access or LMS navigation, and ensure timely sharing of training materials and schedules.
- Provide administrative assistance for onboarding by coordinating orientation sessions, preparing
welcome materials, and ensuring that new joiners receive all required learning resources.
- Maintain training attendance sheets, evaluation forms, and participant records. Archive all
training documentation—both digital and physical—according to data protection and organizational policies.
- Assist in Enter, update, and maintain accurate data in the LMS, including training enrollments,
completions, feedback, and certifications. Support uploading digital content and generating completion reports as needed.
- Collect participant feedback through surveys or forms, summarize key insights, and assist in
reporting outcomes to the L&D team for continuous program improvement.
- Monitor participation in mandatory training and follow up on pending certifications or overdue
sessions to ensure full compliance with internal standards and regulatory
requirements.
- Assist in preparing periodic reports and dashboards, such as monthly and quarterly summaries, to
highlight training progress, participation metrics, completion rates, and
feedback trends.
- Assist in the collection and analysis of data related to skill gaps and learning needs in collaboration with departmental representatives, supporting the development of targeted training initiatives.
- Assist in managing logistics for training sessions including venues, materials, and equipment. Facilitate
workshops, training sessions, and e-learning initiatives.
- Attend L&D or departmental meetings, take notes on action points, and ensure timely
follow-up on assigned learning-related tasks or initiatives
- Perform any additional relevant tasks assigned by the direct Managers.
