Brief Overview
As a strategic member of TriNet’s Revenue team, the Director, Leadership Development will play a pivotal role in accelerating leadership capability across the organization. The Director will be responsible for designing, delivering, and scaling high-impact leadership learning and development programs tailored to the unique needs of revenue-generating teams and individuals. The Director will partner closely with senior business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to build a best-in-class leadership ecosystem that drives performance, engagement, and growth. This includes curating development experiences that blend education, exposure, and executive coaching to elevate both emerging and established leaders, aligning leadership initiatives with overall business objectives.
What Will You Do
- Leadership Strategy & Capability Building Design and lead a holistic leadership development strategy aligned with TriNet’s revenue goals. Partner with Revenue leadership to assess capability gaps and deliver targeted learning experiences that elevate frontline, mid-level, and senior leaders—driving market leader competency models, role expectations, sales effectiveness, pipeline velocity, and team performance.
- Stakeholder Collaboration Consult with business leaders and subject matter experts to understand development needs and co-create impactful learning solutions.
- Talent Development & Succession Planning Develop and manage mentoring initiatives and rotational programs that foster cross-functional exposure and leadership readiness. Identify and cultivate high-potential leaders to build a strong pipeline for future leadership roles.
- Executive Coaching & Program Impact Deliver coaching engagements for high-potential talent and senior leaders to drive measurable business outcomes. Define success metrics and evaluate program effectiveness using indicators such as revenue growth, retention, and leadership bench strength.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with HR, training, and other departments to align leadership programs with broader organizational initiatives. Champion a culture of continuous learning and high-performance by driving awareness of training resources through creative campaigns and internal communications.
- Learning Culture & Continuous Improvement Continuously enhance program effectiveness by leveraging feedback, innovation, and alignment with evolving business needs—motivating and inspiring leaders to achieve their best results.
- Market Analysis Conduct market research to understand leadership trends, best practices, and industry benchmarks.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, master’s degree preferred.
Experience Qualifications
- Typically, 10+ years proven experience in leadership development or a related role.

The preferred location for this role is Atlanta, GA, and the salary range for this location is $122,200.00 to $268,900.00. All qualified external applicants will be considered for an in-office role, based in Atlanta. All qualified internal candidates are encouraged to apply and consider relocation to Atlanta and may be considered for remote hire at the company’s discretion. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.
A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
