Our client, a prestigious Professional Services Firm in Chicago, is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist with strong data management and technical skills to join their team. This role will involve designing and implementing innovative training programs and managing the deployment of learning content through the firm's Learning Management System (LMS). Ideal candidates will have at least 4 years of experience in learning and development, along with expertise in data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau, experience moving and organizing data within an LMS, and a collaborative approach to working with attorneys and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities Include:
- Designing and developing instructor-led training, e-learning modules, virtual classrooms, and workshops
- Conducting needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training needs across the organization
- Collaborating with attorneys, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure training solutions align with firm-wide strategies
- Managing data flows within the LMS, organizing learning paths, and ensuring accurate content deployment
- Creating and updating training resources, including facilitator guides, participant workbooks, multimedia presentations, and job aids
- Facilitating both in-person and virtual training sessions and workshops
- Utilizing data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau to analyze training outcomes and identify areas for improvement
- Recommending improvements to content management, workflow processes, and user experience to enhance the firm’s learning environment
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in Learning & Development, ideally in a law firm or professional services setting
- Proficiency with LMS platforms, data management, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong background in designing and delivering in-person and virtual training programs
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and various stakeholders
