Overview:
The Learning & Development Training Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality, 100% virtual training and coaching tailored to the needs of adult learners while remaining in alignment with client expectations and Aspire’s standards of service excellence. This role is facilitation-focused: the Specialist brings Aspire’s curriculum to life in a remote environment, facilitating new hire training, specialty and ongoing training, client specific training, and post-training support to ensure team member success.
The Learning & Development Training Specialist is fully accountable for ensuring every class participant successfully certifies from training in accordance with company standards, processes, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure every participant successfully certifies from training in alignment with Aspire standards, processes, and procedures.
- Coordinate all training logistics, including scheduling, virtual session setup, systems access, attendance tracking, and LMS administration.
- Ensures training consistency and regularly provides feedback to program stakeholders (L&D Management, Service Delivery, Client Services & HR) on opportunities to enhance learning effectiveness.
- Provide post-training coaching and on the job training (OJT) support for new hires during their transition to live calls.
- Administer knowledge checks, evaluations, and certification activities to assess learner readiness.
- Partner with Client Services to support training for new client implementations and program updates.
- Attend virtual or onsite Train-the-Trainer sessions with clients and cascade training back to Aspire teams.
- Collaborate with Quality team to identify call/email trends and incorporate findings into training and coaching.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Experience & Qualifications:
- Min. three (3) years experience coordinating and facilitating virtual training is required.
- Minimum three (3) years experience managing or supervising a team is required.
- Strong knowledge of travel industry practices and systems (air, hotel, car rental, and cruise) is preferred.
- High school or secondary school required with a university degree preferred.
Language Requirements:
- Ability to communicate in English (verbally and written) in a polished and professional manner is required.
Travel, Schedule & Availability:
- This is a non-travel position.
- A flexible and adaptable schedule is required to meet the needs of the learners.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Must have a dedicated, quiet, and private workspace free from distractions.
- Ability to sit and remain at a desk for extended periods (min 8 hours per day) while operating a computer and telephone headset.
- Reliable high-speed uninterrupted internet connection meeting minimum company standards.
- Ability to use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
- Clear, polished and professional verbal & written communication and active listening skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- May occasionally require walking, standing, or light lifting (up to 10 pounds) of equipment such as a laptop or office supplies.
