About the Role
My client, a professional sports and live entertainment organization, is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to create and deliver innovative training programs that elevate team member skills, support career growth, and strengthen organizational effectiveness. This role will also oversee essential operational components of the learning ecosystem, ensuring seamless coordination, tracking, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
• Create and deliver engaging training programs (workshops, online courses, blended learning) that align with business and team goals.
• Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps, performance issues, and developmental opportunities.
• Collaborate with management to understand team and departmental goals and design appropriate learning solutions.
• Facilitate in-person and virtual workshops, ensuring content is engaging, relevant, and impactful.
• Evaluate program effectiveness through feedback, data, and performance metrics, making improvements as needed.
• Support career and leadership development initiatives, including identifying high-potential employees.
• Manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS) to track progress, completions, and certifications.
What We’re Looking For
• 5+ years of experience in learning & development or a related field.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools.
• Ability to analyze data/metrics to measure and improve training impact.
• Solid project management skills to balance multiple initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or related field (preferred).
