Vector is Bain’s digital delivery platform, encompassing our AI, Insights, & Solutions (AIS) and Enterprise Technology capabilities. These teams drive Bain’s work across generative AI, digital transformation, and innovation.
As part of Bain’s Global Vector Talent and Operations team, the Senior Manager partners with technical guild and regional leaders to identify upskilling needs, develop targeted programs, and deliver impactful learning experiences that integrate both technical and consulting capabilities.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Senior Manager, Global Vector Learning & Development (L&D), plays a pivotal role in advancing the skills, performance, and growth of Vector teams. This position shapes the strategy, design, and execution of global learning initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering innovation in training delivery.
Program Design & Content Development (30%):
- Develop and curate high-quality technical and non-technical training content in collaboration with internal and external partners.
Global Initiative Execution (30%):
- Manage end-to-end rollout of global programs, including logistics, communications, and facilitator preparation.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration (20%):
- Build strong relationships and ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
Strategic L&D Leadership (10%):
- Partner with technical guild leaders to identify skill gaps, define learning priorities, and shape the Vector L&D roadmap across regions.
Learning Innovation & Continuous Improvement (10%):
- Use data to assess effectiveness, introduce enhancements, and integrate innovative delivery methods, tools, and emerging trends.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelors Degree required
- Degree in data science, analytics, or a related technical discipline preferred
- Experience in Learning & Development within consulting, technology, or product-driven organizations
- Track record in designing and delivering high-impact training programs for technical teams
- Demonstrated experience aligning L&D strategies with evolving technology stacks and organizational objectives
- Technical L&D Expertise
- Proficiency in needs analysis, program design, delivery, and evaluation for technical and consulting skill development
- Familiarity with technology-enabled learning trends and emerging skill requirements; ability to integrate new approaches into programs
- Content Development
- Ability to design and source impactful upskilling programs, particularly in technical fields
- Analytical Skills
- Competence in tracking and interpreting learning metrics and performance data to link training outcomes to business KPIs
- Project Management
- Strong skills in managing complex or multiple deployments using tools such as Jira, Trello, or Excel
- Communication and Leadership Skills
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills; able to influence and work across regions and functions
- Proven ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams, including Engineers, Designers, and Researchers, in complex and ambiguous environments

Some local governments in the United States require a good-faith, reasonable salary range be included in job postings for open roles. The estimated annualized compensation for this role is as follows:
In New York City and California State, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between $173,000 - $188,000
In Massachusetts, Washington State and Washington D.C, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between $159,250 - $173,000
In Georgia, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between $138,375 - $150,500
In Texas, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between $145,500 - $158,000
In Illinois, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between $152,125 - $165,500
Placement within these ranges will vary based on factors such as experience, education, training, and skill level.
