We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development Partner to work closely with HR and business leaders, shaping and delivering impactful learning initiatives, elevating in-store excellence, and supporting talent development across multiple markets.
Based in Milan, you will act as the primary L&D partner for retail and corporate teams across Europe and selected international markets. You’ll support the design and roll-out of training programmes, advise leaders on learning needs, and ensure alignment with global standards. This is a hands-on role with significant exposure to senior stakeholders, ideal for someone who enjoys both strategy and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with HR, Retail and Leadership teams to identify learning needs and implement tailored interventions.
- Support the design, localisation and delivery of training programmes (product knowledge, selling ceremony, clienteling, leadership development, onboarding).
- Leverage digital learning tools and platforms to enable blended learning experiences.
- Collaborate with Talent and HR teams to support high-potential development, internal mobility and succession planning.
- Manage external facilitators and vendors to ensure consistent delivery across markets.
- Monitor training effectiveness, report on development KPIs and provide recommendations to leadership.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Education, Psychology or related field; professional certifications (CIPD, ATD, LPI) are a plus.
- 5+ years’ L&D experience in a business partnering role within luxury retail, fashion, lifestyle or hospitality.
- Strong facilitation, instructional design and digital learning expertise.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally in a matrix environment.
- Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and analytics tools.
- Fluent in English; Italian is not essential. Additional European languages are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel across European and international markets as needed.
