GENERAL ROLE
The Learning & Development Intern will acquire valuable experience in Human Resources by actively contributing to the team's daily activities and projects. They will quickly develop a solid understanding of the luxury retail industry, as well as the operational dynamics of an HR department, with a particular focus on Learning & Development.
Main Responsabilities
The Intern will be involved in the following activities:
- Serve as a role model for Hermès values and culture, demonstrating the highest standards of integrity, ethical conduct, and professionalism, while consistently embodying the brand image through impeccable grooming and attitude;
- Coordinate training sessions, managing all operational aspects including travel arrangements, hotel bookings, catering, and the preparation of relevant documentation and materials;
- Develop and organize training content such as agendas, instructional materials, handouts, evaluation forms, and visual aids;
- Oversee the booking of appropriate meeting spaces and handle logistical support for presentations and training events;
- Maintain accurate attendance records using the designated HR system;
- Collaborate with the L&D Manager to design online training surveys and gather participant feedback;
- Support internal communication efforts related to upcoming training initiatives;
- Track and report completion rates of mandatory e-learning modules using Excel-based reporting tools;
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly L&D reports, ensuring precision and timely submission;
- Create and distribute engaging monthly newsletters to highlight key L&D initiatives and updates;
- Assist in the planning and coordination of induction programs for new employees;
- Demonstrate creativity by proposing ideas to enhance the training experience and actively contribute to animating the training community in collaboration with the L&D Manager;
- Support the L&D Manager on other projects and initiatives;
- Offer assistance to the HR team with administrative tasks such as document archiving and front desk operations.
PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a focus in Human Resources or a related field;
- Fluency in Italian and English; proficiency in French or Greek is considered an asset;
- Proficiency in Excel and other relevant IT tools:
- Availability to work full-time with commitment to assigned responsibilities;
- Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive HR information with discretion and integrity;
- A professional, enthusiastic, and dynamic attitude, combined with strong interpersonal skills and a natural ability to integrate and collaborate within a team.
- It is a 6 months extracurricular internship with expected full-time working hours.
