Title: Senior Manager, Learning Strategy & Instructional Design
Compensation: $170,000-210,000 base salary + 10% Bonus
Location: 100% Remote
Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and innovative Senior Manager of Learning Strategy & Instructional Design to lead the creation of impactful AI learning experiences. In this role, you will design and oversee curricula, competency frameworks, and assessments that prepare organizations for AI transformation. You will translate complex AI strategies into scalable, engaging training programs that drive behavior change, enhance adoption, and deliver measurable business outcomes. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Business Management, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- 8+ years of experience in learning & development or consulting, with a focus on enterprise training programs, especially within technology, AI, or digital transformation
- Proven success in designing curricula, competency models, and assessments aligned with business outcomes
- Deep understanding of instructional design principles, learning science models (e.g., Kirkpatrick, 70-20-10, Bloom’s Taxonomy)
- Experience with LMS/LXP systems, e-learning development tools, and SCORM/xAPI standards
- Familiarity with AI tools and their application in course design and content creation
- Strong program management skills and experience applying agile methodologies
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
- Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable in a start-up setting, with a focus on building scalable assets and delivering client value
Responsibilities:
- Develop AI-related competency frameworks and prioritize learning outcomes for diverse client stakeholders
- Design and lead the creation of curricula that advance learners through awareness, application, and sustained behavior change
- Conduct instructional design sprints, producing storyboards, modules, simulations, and job aids tailored to client needs
- Create assessments, rubrics, and dashboards to measure learning impact, skill adoption, and ROI
- Integrate current learning technology trends and adult learning science into modern, blended training solutions
- Collaborate with AI Solution Architects and SMEs to incorporate live labs and scenario-based exercises
- Manage and mentor internal and external instructional designers and facilitators, establishing quality standards
- Partner with client leadership to align training initiatives with strategic goals and demonstrate measurable value
- Develop reusable frameworks, templates, and toolkits to scale training across industries
- Contribute to proposal development, market positioning, and thought leadership in AI workforce training
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and forums
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing strategic insights and long-term value propositions
- Use data-driven approaches to develop business cases and demonstrate ROI of learning initiatives
