This role is a senior-level role within the learning and talent team responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing enterprise-wide learning programs, specifically around skills development. The Senior Manager plays a crucial part in ensuring that employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their roles and contribute to the organization’s success.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders across the global enterprise to identify capability gaps and opportunities for employee development.
- Analyze training needs to design new programs or enhance existing ones that provide practical, business-focused solutions.
- Serve as a strategic learning consultant, designing and implementing training programs that close skill gaps and build critical competencies.
- Shape and execute skills development strategies that align with enterprise-wide talent, learning, and HR priorities.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
- Collect, analyze, and report on training data to assess the effectiveness and business impact of skill-based training initiatives.
- Facilitate and deliver a range of learning programs by creating engaging learning environments, adapting delivery methods to diverse audiences. Leverage strong interpersonal skills to encourage participation, address questions, and foster an inclusive learning environment
- Develop and deliver regular insights and reports that demonstrate how training outcomes align with broader business objectives.
- Apply project management methodologies to drive initiatives from concept to implementation.
- Collaborate with leaders under tight deadlines to ensure training content remains relevant, accurate, and high quality.
- Implement learning solutions that immerse new hires in company culture and values, tailored to sectors such as healthcare, higher education, and commercial organizations.
- Provide leadership, coaching and performance management for direct report(s), fostering growth and ensuring alignment with team and organizational goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field; or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience and enthusiasm for designing and delivering AI, skills-based, and enterprise-wide global training programs
- Client-facing management consulting experience strongly preferred
- Highly adaptable, with the ability to thrive in fast changing environments and projects that evolve based on business needs
- Proven ability to create and deliver evidence-based presentations that clearly communicate the business impact of training to diverse audiences
- Comfortable operating in a highly collaborative, consensus-driven environment, with the ability to quickly grasp complex business dynamics
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, presentation, project management, and interpersonal skills
- Internal applicants must have at least one year of service at the time of application
- Strong track record of successfully navigating multiple stakeholder priorities and competing requests
- Skilled in providing feedback, instruction, and development guidance to help others grow in current or future roles
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience required
- Proven ability to collaborate and influence across all levels of a largely remote organization
- Ability to travel 5-10% nationally and internationally
The estimated base salary range for this job is $130,000-$160,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $156,000-$192,000. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future
