The Head of Teaching and Learning is a leadership role responsible for ensuring excellence in the design, delivery, and oversight of Hudson Global Scholars' online academic programs. Serving both domestic and international K–12 students, this role ensures that instruction and teacher support meet the highest standards of academic quality and student success. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Head of Teaching and Learning provides vision and leadership in developing innovative, scalable, and globally relevant teaching capabilities that enable student learning and success.
Lead design, delivery, and oversight of global online academic programs for K–12 students.
Manage a team of managers and teachers to ensure engaging, rigorous instruction tailored for online environments.
Oversee systems for teacher observation, coaching, and evaluation in online settings.
Develop and maintain scalable systems for teacher hiring, onboarding, compensation, and ongoing development.
Foster a supportive, coaching-oriented culture to help teachers thrive in online classrooms.
Partner with operations teams to optimize scheduling and support for live sessions.
Drive student success, satisfaction, and retention across domestic and international programs.
Promote equitable access and support for multilingual, multicultural learners.
Ensure compliance with accreditation and standards across U.S. and international jurisdictions.
Use data to monitor student performance and ensure academic quality and integrity.
Collaborate on curriculum improvements aligned with U.S. standards and global relevance.
Ensure digital content supports best practices in pedagogy, accessibility, and inclusivity.
Work across teams (Ops, Tech, Enrollment, Support) to ensure seamless academic delivery.
Align instructional priorities with staffing, budgeting, and strategic goals.
Stay current on trends in online learning, including AI and instructional technology.
Lead pilots of innovative tools and practices to drive scalable, high-impact learning.
Recruit, supervise, and develop academic leadership and instructional teams.
Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, equity, and continuous improvement.
