An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Learning & Development Senior Specialist at our Dunboyne facility. They will be responsible for the design, implementation and optimization of site Training system, learning programs and training initiatives for the site. Ensure that objectives are effectively achieved, consistent with our requirements to ensure compliance, safety and reliable supply to our customers. Working across the business to support colleagues and area leads on functional strategy and site and global hoshin as they arise.
Bring energy, knowledge, innovation to carry out the following:
- Assess and prioritise training needs for the site (e.g. through consultation with L&D Lead, Global L&D Contact, managers/ system owners, and subject matter experts), with reference to the site's strategic goals and Employee Development Plans.
- Support managers and individuals by providing information and advice in order to promote a high performing organisation. This includes design and delivery of customized training plans for new and existing employees.
- Support and further develop the L&D Business partner model.
- A L&D Senior Specialist will have no People Manager Responsibilities, but can be part of the People Manager Forum.
- LMS System admin/ super user: Lead the day-to-day operation of the learning management system in compliance with site procedures. Ensure correct records retention for training records.
- Provide guidance for the design of training programs and assist in evaluation of training activities.
- Develop training content including materials and/or training aids required to deliver training programs.
- Act as Sub System Owner (Business Process Owner) delegate (Chapter 3.1 Training and Qualification) and provide audit support for training system as required. Act as subject matter expert for the training system.
- Work with relevant departments to prepare the Annual GMP and EHS training plans for the site.
- Facilitate classroom and skills training as required ( limited requirement).
- Understand the specific responsibilities of all Dunboyne departments as they relate to one’s own department and department support as required.
- Attending Global meetings as required.
- Point of contact for Regulatory and Board of health Audits.
- Subject Matter expert.
- Working with GL&D on implementation of global strategies and initiatives.
- Participate in conducting training audits across the site ensuring the site is audit/inspection ready in relation to all training requirements and be the training point of contact for internal and external audits.
- Working with Global L&D and Implementing change.
What skills you will need
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree level in relevant field.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Experience working in a GMP environment.
- Project Management experience (preferrable).
- Knowledge of Digital Planning Systems.
- Good usage of PowerBI or other business intelligence and data visualization software.
