- 8+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise learning strategies and programs, with a focus on leadership and professional development.
Job Summary
Shape and execute a forward-looking enterprise learning strategy that strengthens leadership, enhances employee capability, and builds a culture of continuous growth. Collaborate with senior leaders to align learning initiatives with business goals and talent priorities. Establish governance and standards that ensure consistency and effectiveness across all enterprise learning efforts.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, And Key Accountabilities
- Leads the development and execution of a comprehensive enterprise learning and development strategy focused on leadership and professional growth, aligned with business and talent priorities.
- Partners with senior leaders and HR teams to assess development needs and deliver learning solutions that support enterprise capabilities, leadership effectiveness, and employee growth.
- Oversees the enterprise learning curriculum, including signature leadership development programs, professional skill-building resources, learning pathways, and self-directed development tools.
- Develops and implements enterprise-wide learning governance, including processes, standards, and practices that guide learning solution design, communications, and delivery.
- Oversees planning and execution of enterprise learning promotions, campaigns, and engagement efforts to increase utilization of core programs and tools.
- Guides evaluation and measurement of learning programs using feedback mechanisms, usage data, and business impact metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborates with functional and business-aligned learning teams to ensure alignment, reduce duplication, and promote sharing of best practices.
- Leads a team of learning professionals, providing coaching, direction, and development opportunities.
Nature and Scope
- Problems are typically defined by higher level leadership. Problems are difficult. Solutions require analysis and investigation.
- Decides how to achieve planned results within an organization's plans, policies, and guidelines. May set or change plans/goals within respective department or area.
- May manage department via multiple layers of managers OR directly supervise a staff of professional individual contributors at the senior or technical advisor level.
Work Environment
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Education And Experience
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 9+ years of experience in a related field, including several years in a management/supervisory capacity.
