Oakleaf Partnership is partnering with a leading global professional services firm in the search for a dynamic Senior Learning & Development Partner to join their People team, based in Amsterdam. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a high-impact role covering the Benelux region, driving strategic learning initiatives and supporting leadership capability across the business.
The Role:
As a key member of the regional HR leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the L&D strategy across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. You will partner closely with business leaders, global learning teams, and external providers to ensure that development interventions are aligned with business goals and deliver measurable impact. This role will have a strong focus on leadership development, as well as wider responsibilities including capability building, effective onboarding, learning needs analysis, and embedding a culture of continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of leadership and management development programmes tailored to local and regional business needs.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to identify learning priorities and deliver solutions aligned to both local and global strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on learning, talent development, and organisational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with global learning teams to localise programmes and ensure consistency in delivery and messaging.
- Evaluate learning initiatives and provide insights to drive continuous improvement and ROI.
- Oversee the regional onboarding experience and support the continuous development of early careers programmes.
- Manage relationships with third-party learning providers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a senior L&D role within a professional services or complex matrix environment.
- Strong background in leadership development, talent development, and organisational learning.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to challenge, influence, and engage at all levels.
- Experience working across the Benelux region and navigating cultural nuances.
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and lead change in learning practices.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, French would be beneficial
