Under the leadership of the Director, HR, the HR Data Administrator contributes to enriching member’s lives by providing exceptional HR service to employees and maintaining HR-related data. Duties of the role will include: inputting and processing information related to HR activities; maintaining employee data on the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), payroll, and other applicable systems; ensuring data quality and integrity of reporting; determining end-user data and report requirements; completing periodic information/data audits; documenting HR processes and providing recommendations to improve department efficiency; completing general correspondence and other administrative duties; and responding to employee inquiries, particularly as related to technical direction. The role will also perform other duties as required.
This is a Full-Time/Term/Remote position for approximately 1-year.
The preferred candidate has secondary school graduation with 2 years’ post-secondary education in a general business program (or a related field), in addition to 1-3 years’ experience in an administrative role; previous experience working in HR and/or payroll would be considered an asset. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills and data knowledge/experience. The position requires someone with a high attention to detail and exemplary time management skills. Previous experience working with an HRIS would be considered an asset. We also require an individual who has a demonstrated ability to uphold confidentiality and manage sensitive situations.
