Our small, dedicated team of developers, designers, and project managers creates software that supports large-scale health initiatives for State and Local Health Departments, Federal agencies, healthcare providers, community-based organizations, and other entities dedicated to managing the health of underserved and vulnerable populations.
What We Need
We are seeking a proactive and experienced User Engagement Specialist (Post Training) to drive engagement and maximize the usage of our cutting-edge technology platform across public health, population health, and our Virtual Education Center (VEC) solution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare technology, with a particular focus on regulated environments, such as military or public health settings. Your mission will be to foster habitual platform usage and ensure our solutions create lasting impacts in the healthcare landscape.
What You Would Be Doing
Develop and Execute User Adoption Strategies
Action: Design tailored engagement strategies to ensure habitual use of the platform across different user groups, including healthcare professionals and administrators.
- How: Create user personas, map their workflows, and identify pain points to craft targeted onboarding, training programs, and continuous engagement tactics.
- Outcome: Increased platform utilization and reduced resistance to adopting new technology, particularly in highly regulated healthcare and public health environments.
Conduct Training and Provide Ongoing Support
Action: Lead training sessions and develop educational resources to maximize user proficiency and comfort with the platform.
- How: Leverage the Virtual Education Center (VEC) to offer interactive tutorials, live Q&A sessions, and on-demand modules tailored to user needs in regulated environments.
- Outcome: Improved confidence in platform usage, minimizing the learning curve and ensuring alignment with industry standards, including those specific to military or public health contexts.
Monitor User Feedback and Drive Iterative Improvements
Action: Act as the primary liaison between users and the development team, collecting feedback to refine the platform and enhance its usability.
- How: Implement surveys, feedback sessions, and usage analytics to identify adoption barriers and collaborate with internal teams to address them.
- Outcome: A continuously improving platform that aligns with user needs, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices, ensuring long-term engagement and impact.
Qualifications:
- Must be a United States citizen and be able to successfully complete the security clearance process.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing user onboarding, training, and engagement programs tailored to diverse user groups.
- Experience creating educational content, leading workshops
- Background in driving adoption for new technology or workflows, especially in settings resistant to change.
- Familiarity with strategies for overcoming resistance and building user confidence in technology..
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical users, and a proven track record of managing client relationships or customer support.
- Demonstrated experience developing and delivering training resources in various formats (e.g., webinars, guides, videos).
- Analytical mindset with experience in monitoring and analyzing engagement metrics to drive strategic decisions.
- Ability to build relationships and provide exceptional, proactive support tailored to users’ needs and goals.
- Ability to translate complex technical features into clear, actionable benefits for users.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster trust and collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including government and public health officials.
- Experience anticipating user challenges and creating preemptive solutions or resources to mitigate them.
- Good understanding of cloud based software concepts along with basic technical knowledge relevant to the product (e.g., familiarity with the software’s platform or ecosystem), the ability to quickly learn and adopt new tools, and prior experience with software or tech products.
- Experience working with data-driven healthcare platforms, including knowledge of dashboards, analytics tools, and workflow integration.
- Using user feedback and metrics to assess platform performance and adoption rates.
- Working with cross-functional teams (development, customer success) to iteratively improve products based on data.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
