Job Description:
Chief Research Officer (CRO) Country Intelligence Group is seeking a Chief Research Officer (CRO) who will serve as a visionary leader, spearheading the development and execution of research strategy and operations. This role is pivotal in delivering actionable insights that empower client success while enhancing the company’s reputation in the marketplace.
Tasks Performed:
The CRO oversees all research activities, research team development, and research resource management, employing cutting-edge methodologies, including AI-driven research, to maintain a competitive edge. - Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive retention, satisfaction, and growth.
- Deliver impactful insights through compelling analysis, presentations, and workshops.
- Provide thought leadership in diverse research methodologies, including advanced and AI-driven techniques.
- Identify opportunities to enhance client relationships and explore new ventures. Team and Project Management.
- Manage research projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Optimize resource allocation and team capacity to meet project requirements.
- Mentor, coach, and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and maintain a positive, productive team environment.
- Set and evaluate performance objectives to support team development. Research Leadership.
- Lead the company’s market research initiatives by staying abreast of industry trends, tools, and methodologies.
- Expand and refine the use of innovative research approaches, including AI-driven insights.
- Ensure research outputs meet the highest standards of accuracy, relevance, and client impact.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., Marketing Research, Business, Psychology).
- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in research, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Expertise in research methodologies, including quantitative, qualitative, and AI-driven approaches.
- Strong client relationship management and business development skills.
- Proven track record of delivering actionable insights that drive business outcomes.
- Exceptional analytic and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and research software/tools (Sawtooth, Tableau, and PowerBI experience preferred).
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and build high-performing teams.
- A proactive, innovative mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
