Position Overview:
The Vice President of Learning and Development will be responsible for designing and implementing learning strategies that drive employee engagement, development, and performance. This leadership role involves working closely with the executive team to align learning programs with business objectives and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in developing global training programs and managing diverse, high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy to meet business goals and employee needs.
● Lead the L&D team in designing innovative programs, including leadership development, technical skills training, and onboarding initiatives.
● Collaborate with senior leaders to assess organizational training needs and align L&D strategies with company goals.
● Oversee the creation and delivery of eLearning modules, workshops, and in-person training sessions.
● Utilize data and feedback to measure the effectiveness of learning programs and refine them for maximum impact.
● Drive the adoption of modern learning technologies and tools to improve accessibility and engagement.
● Build and manage a network of external training providers and consultants.
● Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development throughout the organization.
● Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all training initiatives.
● Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and workshops to stay ahead of L&D trends and innovations.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
● Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in learning and development.
● Proven ability to design and implement global L&D programs that drive measurable results.
● Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and eLearning technologies.
● Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
● Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and data analytics for training evaluation.
● Ability to think strategically and execute operational plans effectively.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, remote work environment and manage multiple priorities.
