ORGANIZATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS SPECIALIST (18 months)
Be part of this dynamic team in leading the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Supply Ontario’s talent strategy and related programs to build a sustainable work environment that attracts and retains top talent, fosters employee engagement, and improves organizational performance.
Reporting to the Director, Talent and Culture, you will be accountable for managing the development and delivery of organizational effectiveness programs, including employee engagement, performance management, leadership development, succession management, learning and development, and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Partnering closely with leaders across Supply Ontario (SO) to deliver and optimize culture initiatives to drive employee engagement, enhance collaboration, and help employees understand and role model SO's values and culture strategy.
- Developing and implementing key initiatives to promote and achieve employee engagement and coordinating the use of tools to measure engagement (e.g., surveys, employee recognition programs, etc.).
- Working closely with the Human Resources Business Partner(s) to ensure alignment of talent strategy programs with the evolving business requirements and talent needs of the organization to achieve its objectives and mandate. Leading the development and implementation of a range of talent strategy programs, services, and initiatives such as succession management, talent attraction and retention programs, and diversity, equity and inclusion activities
- Leading the development and implementation of a range of learning and development programs, services and initiatives aimed at fostering excellence in SO’s executives, leadership and staff and achieving SO’s strategic and business priorities.
- Leading the annual performance management program process that supports staff in achieving SO’s business goals and enables leaders to make informed performance-based decisions.
- Developing and implementing metrics and measures and leveraging the full potential of internal HR data to identify new areas to optimize and enhancing efficiency through continuous improvement in all program areas.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the following:
- Proven and demonstrated experience in the provision of expertise and advice in all facets of human resources to support strategic business requirements.
- Specialized experience in leading and implementing such organizational effectiveness programs or initiatives as: talent strategy; diversity and inclusion; employee engagement; change management, succession planning; and learning and development programs, and leadership development.
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness strategies, technologies, and theories.
- Proven experience in collaborative and influential partnering with executive leadership as well as HR cross-functional partners.
