Kelly is seeking a Training Specialist to support a global technology leader’s Workforce Development Team in Boise, ID. This full-time contract position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals passionate about training, documentation, and organizational excellence.
Training Specialist (WF Development Specialist 1)
Location: Boise, ID (8000 S. Federal Way, Boise, ID 83716)
Start Date: September 1, 2026
End Date: March 31, 2027
Work Arrangement: Full-Time Contract | Monday–Friday, 8 hours/day (40 hours/week)
Travel Required: None – must work onsite at Boise location

Responsibilities
- Support the Workforce Development Team with training and documentation systems, including training record maintenance and content management.
- Monitor and follow up on documentation change requests to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion.
- Edit, proofread, and format documents, maintaining organizational style standards and templates.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training materials are accurate and up-to-date.
- Store documents in the appropriate repository, adhering to data management requirements.
- Administer and update training materials within the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Audit training assignments and manage on-the-job training (OJT) certifications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records and system data.
- Ensure all processes meet high standards for detail, accuracy, and organizational best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- At least 2 years of experience writing technical documentation for new systems, equipment, or processes (semiconductor industry preferred).
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable learning and using new technology platforms and documentation systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience administering a Learning Management System (LMS).
- Two or more years’ experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Previous work supporting training programs, workforce development, or quality documentation in a technical industry.
