The Mandatory Training and Learning Systems Partner is responsible for leading and developing the Trust’s statutory and mandatory training programme and learning systems. The role ensures compliance with NHS and regulatory requirements, manages digital learning platforms such as ESR and eLearning for Health (eLfH), and leads a small team delivering mandatory training, learning systems, data and digital support services. The post holder works closely with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to improve training compliance, system effectiveness and workforce learning outcomes.
The post holder leads the management of statutory and mandatory training requirements, ensuring staff training needs are accurately assigned and monitored through ESR and other learning systems. Key duties include managing compliance data, producing reports, overseeing learning system functionality, developing guidance and processes, supporting digital learning solutions, and driving continuous improvement projects. The role also includes team leadership, stakeholder engagement, data quality assurance, policy implementation, audit support, and promoting a positive learning culture across the organisation.
