The Learning and Development Officer will line manage the Learning and Development Trainers.
Act as a specialist in learning and development, a source of specialist advice and guidance on opportunities at both an individual, team and organisational level.
Hold a lead specialism of Digital Systems learning including clinical systems with working knowledge of Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system.

- Line management support to the Learning and Development Trainers, undertaking one to one meetings, appraisals and performance management.
- Design and develop the delivery method of Learning and development activities for specialist areas of responsibility.
- Day to day support to the Learning and Development Trainers in dealing with enquiries, providing guidance to learners with regards to learning.
- Develop the assessment approach in recording the competence of employees as part of the learning and development activities.
- Implement the agreed evaluation methods to monitor the effectiveness of Learning and Development training programmes.
