Altis Recruitment & Technology is searching for an HR professional to join our team internally. In this role, you will work as a trusted support for our business leaders and team members where they deliver on business goals and drive internal initiatives. Reporting into the Director, People & Culture, you would be responsible for supporting in executing company programs and processes, and supporting talent acquisition, DEI initiatives and learning and development where needed. The bulk of your role will focus on Employee Relations (70% of the role).

Responsibilities
- Consulting with leaders, staff, and clients on employee relations (including conflict resolution, terminations, human rights, compliance, employment law), compensation, retention, training and development, HR programs, and internal talent acquisition
- Executing company programs and processes, including diversity, equity & inclusion, employee engagement, and employee retention
- Contributing to long-term goals around business and people development, including succession planning
- Advising, coaching, and guiding all levels of leadership to build cultural competence and inclusive leadership skills
- Working with our internal hiring team to ensure that our recruitment and onboarding processes sustain a diverse workforce and attract a broad candidate pool, including those that are under-represented
- Supporting leaders in creating performance success plans for individual team members
- Supporting HR policy creation and compliance to employment laws and regulations
- Maintaining an awareness of emerging trends and best practices in HR and liaising with HR peers to ensure policies and procedures stay current and market competitive
Areas of Support included but aren’t limited to:
- Creation and delivery of HR content
- Team member and leader coaching as needed
- Ongoing companywide DEI training and programming
- Termination notices
- Stay interviews
- Exit interviews
- Create initial drafts of new policies, and regularly audit existing policies to remain current
- Performance Assessment audit and support
- Any conflict or employee issues that need support
- Supporting with training/L&D
- Advise on human rights, employment law and various compliance issues with our clients and candidates
- Mental health initiatives and support for our team
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in multiple human resource disciplines, including employee relations, change management, diversity and inclusion, performance management, and employment law
- Prior experience interacting and working with senior leadership levels
- Ability to analyze variety of data types, think critically and identify process improvements
- Proactive in identifying and summarizing issues, providing solutions, and overcoming hurdles to achieve results
- Highly effective communicator with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate ideas, concepts, and proposals to engage team, peers, and leadership
- Strong interpersonal awareness and skills with emphasis on empathy, supportiveness, ability to have uncomfortable conversations, actively listen, and act
- Undergraduate degree in HR or equivalent work experience
