We are supporting an NHS organisation seeking Band 8a Organisational Development Business Partner to play a pivotal role in delivering our People Strategy and supporting a high-performing, inclusive workforce. You will lead strategic organisational development initiatives focused on talent management, succession planning, staff wellbeing, employee engagement, leadership development, and equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI).
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced OD professional who is passionate about creating positive workplace cultures, developing talent, and driving meaningful organisational change.
About The Role
- Lead key organisational development workstreams supporting the People Strategy
- Drive the organisation's Equality, Diversity and Inclusion agenda
- Support the development and delivery of talent management and succession planning programmes
- Lead health and wellbeing initiatives, promoting a positive employee experience
- Design, implement and evaluate leadership and management development programmes
- Manage and develop members of the OD team
- Oversee staff engagement activities, including employee surveys and improvement initiatives
- Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to identify development needs and deliver impactful OD interventions
- Support the ongoing digital transformation of learning and workforce systems
- Develop business cases, policies and strategies that enhance organisational effectiveness
Essential Requirements
- Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience
- Significant experience in organisational development, learning and development, or workforce transformation
- Experience operating at a senior management level within a complex organisation
- Proven experience designing and delivering leadership, learning and talent programmes
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and board-level colleagues
- Excellent communication, presentation and coaching skills
- Experience leading teams and developing staff
- Ability to analyse data and use insight to inform workforce initiatives
- Understanding of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion best practice and the Equality Act 2010
- Experience working with learning management systems and training record systems
Qualifications
- CIPD qualification or recognised OD qualification
- Coaching qualification
