Description:
We are seeking an innovative and experienced Learning and Development Consultant to join our Human Resources team. You should have a passion for developing talent and helping DDI build a high-performance organization. As the Learning and Development (L&D) Consultant, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-impact programs and initiatives to promote learning and accelerate employee growth. You will be a key partner to our business leaders, a project manager, learning designer, and a versatile facilitator.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders to determine development needs aligned to strategic initiatives and overall growth goals.
- Develop new and improve existing learning programs for leadership development at all levels (first time leaders, experienced leaders, emerging leaders).
- Design new and improve existing learning programs for employee development.
- Project manage learning programs from inception to execution, including needs assessment, learning design, content delivery, metrics, and communication.
- Communicate and market virtual, in-person, and self-paced learning opportunities to maximize participation.
- Facilitate internal training sessions virtually and in-person.
- Partner with members of the HR team to improve and evolve new employee orientation and onboarding programs.
- Measure program effectiveness and collect feedback for continuous improvement.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on learning and development best practices to support DDI leaders and other internal partners in developing and implementing learning initiatives.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience working in corporate learning and development functions or equivalent experience
- Learning and development methods, including adult learning principles
- Curriculum design
- Project management
- Demonstratable experience designing, implementing, and evaluating learning programs
- Strong track record of solving complex problems, designing creative strategics, and delivering significant impact as a business partner
- Skilled presenter and facilitator and can adapt delivery style based on audience and context
- Communicating clearly and concisely, in both written and verbal forms
- Belief in a growth mindset - enabling others to learn and grow is your passion and dedication
- A love of continuous learning and are receptive to feedback
- Strong customer orientation
- The ability to be flexible and remain calm under pressure
Salary: The anticipated hiring range for this position is listed below.
Variable Pay: 5% of salary
