About the Role
As Learning & Development Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the organisation's learning culture by designing and delivering impactful development programmes that support both employee growth and business performance. Working closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders, you will develop learning strategies, enhance leadership capability and drive initiatives that foster continuous learning across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the organisation's Learning & Development strategy, aligned with business objectives and future capability needs
- Conduct training needs analyses to identify skills gaps and create targeted learning plans
- Design and deliver engaging learning programmes, including leadership, onboarding, technical and professional development training
- Manage external training providers and oversee the delivery of blended learning solutions, including e-learning, workshops and coaching
- Support talent development and succession planning initiatives, helping to develop future leaders across the business
- Partner with managers and senior stakeholders to identify development opportunities and promote a culture of continuous learning
- Manage Learning Management Systems (LMS) and ensure learning content remains current, engaging and accessible
- Monitor learning effectiveness through reporting, feedback and data analysis, driving continuous improvement across L&D initiatives
- Ensure mandatory and compliance training is delivered, tracked and completed in line with business requirements
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience within Learning & Development, Talent Development or Training roles
- Experience designing and delivering engaging learning programmes across a variety of audiences
- Strong facilitation, presentation and instructional design skills
- Experience delivering leadership development and soft skills training programmes
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
- Strong analytical skills, with experience measuring learning outcomes and programme effectiveness
- Experience managing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms is advantageous
- Good understanding of adult learning principles, coaching methodologies and learning best practice.
