Director, Enterprise Learning & Organizational Development
Our client, a large, multi-site healthcare organization, is seeking a strategic and innovative Director of Enterprise Learning & Organizational Development to design, launch, and lead its new enterprise learning platform. This individual will build the organization's enterprise learning strategy to strengthen workforce capabilities, develop future leaders, and support operational excellence across a complex healthcare system. Reporting to senior leadership, this role will establish the enterprise learning platform as the organization's centralized learning ecosystem—aligning employee development with strategic business priorities, clinical excellence, regulatory requirements, and organizational transformation initiatives. The Director will create the operating model for enterprise learning, including curriculum architecture, governance, faculty development, learning technologies, and scalable capability-building programs that drive measurable improvements in workforce performance and organizational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Learning Strategy Develop and execute the long-term vision and strategy for the organization's enterprise learning platform.
- Design a scalable enterprise learning model that supports organizational growth and workforce transformation.
- Partner with executive leadership to identify current and future capability needs across clinical, operational, administrative, and leadership functions.

Curriculum Architecture & Learning Programs
- Design and oversee a comprehensive enterprise curriculum that supports employees throughout every stage of their careers.

Organizational Learning Governance
Build the governance structure that ensures consistency, quality, and accountability across all learning programs.
Responsibilities include:
- Establishing an enterprise Curriculum Governance Council
- Partnering with Clinical Leadership, HR, Operations, Compliance, and Quality teams
- Defining standards for curriculum development and approval
- Implementing content review and quality assurance processes
- Managing continuing education and accreditation requirements
- Creating annual curriculum planning and governance cycles
Faculty & Learning Delivery
Develop a scalable faculty model that leverages internal expertise while incorporating external thought leaders. Build and manage a network of:
- Clinical subject matter experts
- Operational leaders
- Executive leadership
- External faculty
- Academic partners
- Industry experts
- Create faculty onboarding, certification, coaching, and evaluation programs to ensure consistent instructional quality.
Learning Experience & Content Strategy
Design modern learning experiences utilizing multiple delivery methods, including:
- Instructor-led training
- Virtual instructor-led training
- Self-paced e-Learning
- Simulation-based learning
- Mobile learning
- Micro learning
- Cohort-based leadership program
- Blended learning experiences
Ensure all content is scalable, reusable, and aligned across the enterprise.
Organizational Development & Capability Building
Partner with senior leadership to strengthen organizational capabilities through strategic development initiatives. Support enterprise priorities including:

Learning Technology & Measurement
Oversee the systems, processes, and analytics that support enterprise
learning. Responsibilities include:
- Optimizing the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Evaluating new learning technologies and digital learning platforms
- Developing enterprise learning dashboards and KPIs
- Measuring learner engagement and program effectiveness
- Tracking competency development and certification compliance
- Demonstrating the impact of learning investments on organizational performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Organizational Development, Education, Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Organizational Development, Enterprise Learning, Leadership Development, Talent Development, or Workforce Transformation.
- Experience building or leading a corporate university or enterprise learning function
- Experience within healthcare or another complex, multi-site organization preferred.
- Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide organizational change and workforce transformation initiatives.
- Experience partnering with executive leadership to align learning strategy with business objectives.
- Strong understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design, competency frameworks, and organizational development principles.
- Experience managing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and enterprise learning technologies.
Salary range between $135-145K annually.
