Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. Your hiring manager will discuss this role's specific work requirements with you during the hiring process. The Opportunity
Spend your day focused on meeting business and learner needs, and positively impacting business results. Sr L&D Specialist are responsible for participating in and leading complex projects of varying scope in a highly collaborative project team environment. Teams align learning solutions to business requirements using adult learning theories and accepted design processes. Strong project management, collaboration, and communication skills ensure fast-paced project completion according to requirements and deadlines. Facilitate engaging content through blended delivery formats at highly proficient and professional levels. Provide innovative opportunities using L&D technology to create engaging learning solutions. Plays a visible leadership role and able to contribute to the formulation of business strategies.
The Work Itself
- Communicates and executes learning strategies in alignment with business objectives that drive results; ability to identify links between key business issues and assigned learning projects. Perform instructional design and/or program management work as needed.
- Proficiently design, develop, deliver, and evaluate learning content utilizing accepted content development approaches for large scale projects and modules, with varied delivery methods such as Classroom or Virtual Instructor led, video, e-learning, job aides, learning exercises, etc.
- May facilitate essential content at an expert skill level, in blended delivery platforms.
- May have responsibility for leading, managing, and developing a team.
- Coaches L&D Team and others on facilitation primarily, and instructional design as needed.
- Collaborate with management to develop business learning proposals for sites and/or projects including training needs assessments, performance gap analysis, resource requirements and business objectives. Manage projects plans to meet project team and business deadlines for courses, curriculum, and other L&D efforts.
- Evaluates course effectiveness through end of course evaluations, participant comprehension, and operational metrics, making necessary content revisions.
- Uses technology to simplify work processes. Applies technical knowledge to identify trends and solutions for L&D products and services. Learn new software and keeps current on emerging technology.
- Lead team on new and innovative L&D projects and solutions to address training needs analysis and meet business learning requirements.
Skills
The Skills You Bring
- College degree in Learning and Development or associated area of study strongly preferred.
- 3 + years in Learning and Development, including design, develop and delivery required.
- Ability to lead and manage new L&D projects from needs analysis to post-delivery evaluation.
- 2 years leadership experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently, be self-directed, apply analytical skills, and think creatively.
- 2 – 3 years in customer service or Insurance industry is desirable.
- Ability to provide advice/direction in primary areas of expertise.
- Team coaching and development experience preferred.
- Leveraging technical expertise and relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results.
- Project management experience is preferred.
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft suite, learning technologies or software a plus.
- Experience in various learning technology; video, podcast, digital reality gamification, and program development desirable.
- Automotive technical knowledge preferred.

Base Pay Range: $70000 - $100000 USD
An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
