Role Summary
The Lead Learning and Talent Development Associate is a strategic enablement partner and key liaison between the L&TD function and core corporate groups, including HR, Finance, and IT. Equal parts consultant and program owner, this role is responsible for cutting through the noise to determine what a business problem actually calls for—and building scalable programs when learning is the right answer. That includes enterprise-wide new hire onboarding, functional training programs, compliance training governance, and learning integration across newly acquired companies.
Strategic Consulting & Needs Analysis
- Serve as a trusted L&D advisor, collaborating closely with business leaders and corporate program stakeholders to design and execute learning strategies that align with and advance their organizational objectives.
- Translate ambiguous business problems into clear diagnostic frameworks, learning objectives, or alternative performance support solutions, advising stakeholders on what will and will not move the needle.
- Serve as a thought partner and strategic sounding board for program leaders, bringing an outside-in perspective on best practices in adult learning, performance consulting, and enterprise enablement.
Functional Training Programs
- Consult with functional leaders to conduct needs assessments, define learning objectives, and translate business priorities into structured curriculum and learning pathways—only where a learning intervention is the right fit.
- Lead the design and build-out of functional training programs addressing capability gaps across corporate populations, including role-specific skills, systems proficiency, and process knowledge.
- Use data-driven insights, program KPIs, completion rates, assessment outcomes, and business impact metrics, to evaluate effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
Enterprise New Hire Onboarding
- Partner with HR, business leaders, and functional stakeholders to ensure onboarding content reflects current business priorities, role-specific requirements, and company values.
- Continuously improve enterprise-wide new hire onboarding programs that accelerate time-to-productivity and establish a consistent cultural and operational foundation across the organization.
Enterprise Compliance Training
- Partner with Legal, HR, and Compliance teams to identify evolving compliance requirements and develop or update training content accordingly.
- Own the enterprise compliance training calendar, ensuring all mandatory training obligations are met on time and in alignment with legal, regulatory, and policy requirements.
- Monitor completion rates and audit readiness across all compliance programs; report to senior stakeholders and lead remediation strategies where gaps exist.
What You'll Bring
- 7–10+ years of progressive experience in learning and talent development, including instructional design, facilitation, adult learning theory, needs analysis, and enterprise curriculum management. Prior leadership experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience as an L&D consultant or strategic partner—skilled at conducting root cause analysis, framing performance problems, and recommending solutions that go beyond training when appropriate.
- Proven ownership of enterprise-wide programs—new hire onboarding, compliance training, or functional learning—in large, complex, or matrixed organizations.
- Experience supporting M&A learning integration or workforce transition programs is preferred; comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments is essential.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent programs across diverse stakeholder groups and organizational levels.
- Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills; proven ability to build trust, push back constructively, and drive alignment without direct authority.
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Cornerstone, Oracle) and comfort using program data and completion metrics to inform strategy and reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present recommendations clearly to senior leaders and influence decisions through sound analysis
